Dixie
I am so thankful, and it never hurts to acknowledge it, we have been extremely fortunate over the years with wonderful baby sitters. Tayler is one of our very favorites, and today's doggie is her baby. Dixie is 2 years old, a beautiful mix between a Lab and a Rottweiler. She has gorgeous blue eyes, a luscious shiny brown coat, with the most playful personality. Coco was very happy with her play date. Tomorrow, I plan on sharing a beautiful mom to be. With my adorable assistant, my lovely n [...]
Clover & Lilly
Doggy day! I'm long due for this post and apologize for the delay. Still from the Pet Resort, I have Clover, 10 weeks old, an Alaskan Malamute mix (with Lab), who was brought to me by Theresa. I found my self again ashamed to not be spending more time with Coco, teaching her "obedience lessons", young Clover already has a large vocabulary repertoire, and could fallow commands in a very impressive manner. A little treat also came in handy...
And if his vocal cords were like ours, I swe [...]
Fergie and Keeli
I've just arrived in Grand Rapids, MI, and am enjoying the luxury of a very peaceful room in a very swanky hotel, I could get used to this. I'll say more about this 4 days getaway in a couple of days, with I hope, some beautiful images.
For now, I'm sharing these 2 super cute doggies. Amy is the manager at The Pet Resort, a very swanky pet hotel. Lori is the fantastic groomer, who can tame Coco's hair when she goes "rasta" on me. Amy came with her 1 year old Boston Terrier, Fergie, warning [...]
Bowden
This handsome Dachshund gets his name from the very famous Bobby Bowden, current head college football coach of the Florida State University Seminoles. My knowledge in football is very limited, and I must admit I had never heard the name before, but I googled it, and was impressed to read about the very successful career of the head coach in non other than Wikipedia.
Soon after her wedding, Ashley decided to get a puppy, and the condition given by her groom, was that he chose the name. I'm go [...]
General Beau Regard
I've seen my friend, Barclay's parent walk their Basset Hound in the neighborhood ever since they moved to Pensacola. But since this past fall, I've missed them. They haven't been able to take him out because he's been diagnose with cancer and his health won't allow him his daily walks anymore. However, Mister General Beau Regard, known as Beau-Beau to his intimates, has surprised everyone by outliving his vet's predicted life expectancy. Like his mama told me, they all though he would be in [...]
Dusky
Dusky is an other good friend of Coco's, mind you she befriends all dogs and people very easily, but his owner, Everett is also one of Will's best friend. Everett chose the name for his puppy, it's a species of shark, and also a brand for sailboats, a well rounded name. Dusky is a "Puggle", a cross breed between a Beagle female and a Pug male, he looks to me just like a small boxer. He is so sweet and playful, also very well trained. it made me think I should take Coco to training class agai [...]
Fergus with An
It's a doggy post today!
Fergus is just a little over a year old, and came last week for his first model shoot. Coco fell in love. (she's really pushing me to pursue the dog photography, she gets a play date out of it each time)
The session was one of the funniest ever, this little guy left us with many special memories. He did a wonderful job posing, while I very much enjoyed my visit with his mama.
He's giving me "the eye",
He's checking out Coco, who was batting her eye lashes big [...]
Stormy
Meet Stormy, our Vet's beautiful Husky. Last week, was our first visit to the East Hill Animal Clinic. Our previous Vet moved too far away for us, and now Coco will be a patient of Dr. Laura Hall. Coco was presenting some very odd symptoms, which had me worried she might turn into psycho dog: every other night she would wake me every couple of hours to go outside. The first night I ignored her, but learned the next morning to run when she called the next time ( I won't describe the mess, nas [...]
Loulou Belle, Yorkie
Dog lovers, be aware, miss Loulou Belle is A-DO-RA-BLE! She's as sweet as can be, but of course her small size make her even more irresistible. Her mama was telling me that when they first brought her home, she was so tiny she could fit in her husband's front shirt pocket! Now, at 3 months, he can still hold her in the palm of one hand. I think she hasn't reach 1 pound yet.
She was very aware, and we have many cute shots in all different poses.
Patient,
Curious,
Totally diggi [...]
Coco, super model!
Just a month ago, Coco had her first birthday, thankfully she's not aware of the exact date, so she probably won't have notice, we're still a little late celebrating it. The kids would like to plan a special dog party...
I'm excited to announce I am now able to offer "studio dog photography". I've set up a small studio, but only intend to photograph dogs in that setting. I still much prefer "on location shoots" for newborns, children, and high school seniors.
I got the idea from a wonderfu [...]
