- 2 years ago in May, I met Melanie and Vic for their maternity session, they were expecting Melania. Then I photographed their little princess in June 2018 and just 2 weeks ago, I had their son, V in my studio. I absolutely LOVE having return clients, being given the honor to be trusted once more to capture such precious times in their lives as the growth of their family. Mel and Vic... you must have more! You make the cutest babies!!!

- I've missed photographing newborns this past month. I feel lucky that just before we, in America, became aware of Coronavirus and its risks, just before the country shut down, just before our quarantine was set into place, just before non essential business like photography had to be placed on hold, I got to photograph 3 babies in a week. I have stretched their editing longer than usual, perhaps, to make it last through the quarantine? Charlotte was quite a gem to photograph, finally a little [...]

What's in a name? If you believe the experts, the answer is everything from behavior, to success in the job market and more!
Baby name expert Laura Wattenberg says choosing your newborn baby's name is so important because of what people really hear when they hear someone's name. "We all read a lot of information into a name. You hear a name, it's not just the sound. It's age, religion, ethnicity and gender and a whole world of culture packed into those few letters."

- It is a great honor to be chosen by a local wonderful OBGYN to photograph her first baby. As some of you may know, OBGYN was my first dream job (before photography), it is what I trained for in France before I met my husband and moved to America. I went into Med School at Paris
"Cochin ecole de medecine" straight after high school. We do things a little differently there and don't have college, but med school is 6 years, and then you train for your specialty (like you do in the US). Howeve [...]

- Meet litte Zhy'Mir, with all the bustle of Christmas, I hadn't gotten around to posting his session. But he was a wonderful model for his photoshoot giving me so many smiles!

- Meet little Balenci, I photographed her last August and never got around to blogging her session. Isn't she the sweetest, so inquisitive with those big eyes!

- Much love for this special little girl. You can tell already she will be well surrounded by 3 big protective brothers! It was such a pleasure to meet you all in this very exciting time of your lives:)

- Because of my Photography niche, newborn photography, I rarely have repeat clients. I also offer studio fine art Maternity portraits and photograph little babes when they can sit on their owns (generally 6-7 months old), but unlike family photography, & children photographers, I rarely see my clients again, newborns are quite unique in a family! This beautiful family is one of my rare repeat clients as I photographed Elliot several years ago when he was born, and boy did he grow up! Thank you [...]

- Karsynn's grand mother booked her session long in advance and all the way from Oklahoma! And I'm so glad I got to meet this lovely family and photograph this sweet squishy bundle of joy! They came with a family heirloom, the little wooden crate was made by Karsynn's great grand father and the blanket a gift from her great grand mother. I love it when my clients bring special heirloom items to use in their session, it makes for treasured memories.

- Meet sweet little Smith. Her grand mother did a fabulous job helping us select beautiful colors for her session, I love the outcome.

- I always offer to my clients a payment plan and I leave the scheduling of the deposits (and their amounts) up to them. Lauryn and Ryan are the first client who came to see me early in the pregnancy and made gradual payments so that by the time I photographed their babies they were all done purchasing the collection they wanted. I have no doubt they will handle raising twins like pros! Their organization skills and team work are very impressive. I might secretly be a little envious:)

- Originally I was set to photograph little Leo in August. He was due while I was visiting my family in France, but he had other plans, and decided to surprise everyone by arriving a month early... in June! I was able to photograph him shortly before my trip and am so happy that it worked out. Sebastian, his big brother was so sweet with him!
