- Jayden came into a family with lots of women, and is considered the little prince in his kingdom. I was back home in France last week, and while I was setting up the details of his newborn session, his mama was asking me about a Prince themed picture. I did some research and went to my favorite fabric store in Aix-en-Provence, "La Victoire", bought some fabrics, ribbons, and sewed a little outfit, crown & Fleur de Lis for the Prince:)

- This precious little boy is nothing short than a miracle baby! As I understand it, his conception was already remarkable as his mother was on birth control, with 3 girls and no intentions of expending her family. - I think I fell in love with this little princess. I must confess, I pretty much fall in love with each baby I photograph. Seriously, look at that perfect little face with those adorable little lips, ideal eyebrows, flawless skin... And she was just the best little model too!

- There are for sure some unfairnesses in life, and I'm so sorry for Kingston to start his without the chance of ever meeting his dad. He passed away very unexpectedly and suddenly during Tangela's pregnancy. Their story was cut short much too soon, but she speaks of it and him with much wisdom, grateful for the love and the beautiful little boy that came from their time together. Much love to you both:)

- Meet Adler Beau! I love that her parents decided not to find out early if they were expecting a boy or a girl. The trend has definitely evolved from just finding out to full out fun and creative gender reveals. I was fired up to find out and plan for my children. Each time I had a serious case of nesting syndrome and went into full sewing mode, painting their rooms... I wouldn't have been able to wait the whole pregnancy.

- I met Zinnamon's grand mother a few mom's ago, in her UPS store, my favorite UPS store (they are so helpful and efficient in that location by Target on Bayou Blvd). I was sending away an album to be displayed in an exhibit in the Atlanta airport, and Sheryl told me about her daughter, Mallory expecting a little boy. Shortly after I met sweet little Zinnamon. - When you have a furry big bro, we try new things in photography. After all, Royal is growing fast and won't be able to ride Andre much longer. It's plausible now that he could have laid on his back, however, I would never consider taking such a picture, way too risky! This is a photographer's trick: meaning I combined 2 images (one of Andre and an other of Royal sleeping on a comfortable harmless beanbag) into one in Photoshop. - Nine months is a long time in the making, but what a miracle! To be able to grow in our bodies such perfect little human beings. Here was Abbi just a couple months ago and just last week she came to see me with a sublime little baby.

- 15 days old the day of her session, and little Miss Milani Dior was a champion model! I am so grateful for her parents to have driven from Orange Beach for their baby's pictures. I know that life becomes a little hectic once you add a tiny human into your home. It somehow becomes a miracle when you manage to squeeze in a shower in your busy day of snuggle and feedings. - Over the years I have had the great honor to participate in recording Rochelle and Barry's growing family. I photographed their first 2 pregnancies and all 3 babies newborn sessions. I recall the first time we met, she wasn't yet married and she told me right then that she wanted me to photograph her children when she would have them. Back in Missouri, she farms cotton, so it is especially meaningful to have a field of cotton in her images. In my mind, I think of her as the cotton queen.

- How I love to photograph a family through time as it is welcoming its new members! I photographed Turner soon after she was born and was delighted to see her with that spitfire personality.
