I've got a new computer: a beautiful huge screen apple, latest technology, clean lines...

I'm just returning home from a 4 days escapade to New York with Henry. He started running for marathons 2 years ago, with originally for goal to qualify to participate in the Boston marathon. He has been dedicated to a strict training regimen and has surpassed his highest ambition. At the same time his goals are shifting and he raises the bar for himself after each competition. It's been a really busy weekend. The good kind of busy. It started with second shooting a beautiful wedding for Patsy Brown on Friday. Then it was all family time, I took the girls to the pumpkin patch to choose our jack-o-lanterns, where I manage to take a few pictures. We didn't celebrate Halloween in France when I was a child, and I have years of excitement to catch up with! It's almost Christmas season again! Every year I get a lot of Christmas cards requests and soon it's a a rush against time to have everyone set up. After the holidays I always promise myself to be better prepared the next time around. I'm finally trying something new, which will hopefully work out for all. We met on the third day, with our models near London bridge. We then split up in small groups and explored this one little street for photo opportunities. We found a neat garage, where the workers loved all the buzz we created, they watched, then participated in our pictures, and even pulled out some fancy cars for props. I've been gone for a while, but I'm back to blogging.
I've just returned from an amazing week in London with world famous wedding photographer, (drum roll please) Scott Robert. It was my second workshop with him (we call it: "hopping on the Scott Robert wagon"), and he keeps getting better. I'm now, after an unusually very long (24 hours door to door) trip in my top most favorite place on earth: Aix-en-Provence, with my children and all my family. This is where I was born and grew up, and it's quite a treat for me to return once a year back home. There's always something so special about the place where we spend our childhood, but I feel I'm even more fortunate to have it in this paradise on earth. I know it's a little early, but today I feel pretty good about Henry's (my man) father's day present. It sure beats my first ever mother's day present, 10 years ago: a fly fishing rod!!! I tried my best to practice in our backyard everyday for a good 15 minutes, under Henry's watchful eyes, but never really got into it.
