  • Shiny Brand New Apple

  • YOOWOO!!! I've got a new computer: a beautiful huge screen apple, latest technology, clean lines... I spend the last week working on switching from my old computer to this little beauty. I've had some stressful moments, lots of pacing aimlessly around the house and lots of intense stares at the computer willing the little progress bar to speed up some (totally useless). It was mainly all the transfer of data accumulated over the past year from one drive to an other that had me edgy. Hitting [...]
  • Venice Slideshow

  • Finally, I committed to putting together a slideshow from my trip to Venice, under Yervant's mentoring. I will keep some fond memories from the romantic city, the new friends and the lessons from world wide renown photographer.
  • New York New York

  • I'm just returning home from a 4 days escapade to New York with Henry. He started running for marathons 2 years ago, with originally for goal to qualify to participate in the Boston marathon. He has been dedicated to a strict training regimen and has surpassed his highest ambition. At the same time his goals are shifting and he raises the bar for himself after each competition. This time, hoping to set a personal record at around 3:23, he surprised himself with an amazing time of 3:12. Of c [...]
  • Pumpkin patch with the girls

  • It's been a really busy weekend. The good kind of busy. It started with second shooting a beautiful wedding for Patsy Brown on Friday. Then it was all family time, I took the girls to the pumpkin patch to choose our jack-o-lanterns, where I manage to take a few pictures. We didn't celebrate Halloween in France when I was a child, and I have years of excitement to catch up with! This is one of my favorite holidays here (actually there are many more, as an America there are plenty of celebrat [...]
  • Mini Christmas session

  • It's almost Christmas season again! Every year I get a lot of Christmas cards requests and soon it's a a rush against time to have everyone set up. After the holidays I always promise myself to be better prepared the next time around. I'm finally trying something new, which will hopefully work out for all. I'm offering these mini sessions, tentative dates: Monday Oct 27, and Tuesday Oct 29, possibly more depending on the response I'll get. How it works: I will be in the Pensacola downtow [...]
  • Venice with Yervant

  • Hi there, Well, I'm back home and it always takes a few days to get my feet back on the ground. It's wonderful to be back with the kiddos and Henry, I missed everyone, but I must say that aside from the HUGE leap in improving my skills each workshops gives me, they're also quite a treat for me. I get a chance to be just me, for a short time nobody is depending on me (no children to take to school, no grocery shopping, no laundry, no mail to deal with.. you get it), but I get to do something t [...]
  • Yervant workshop in Venice

  • I am in Venice, learning with worldwide renown , Yervant from Australia. He is simply put a master photographer, a pioneer in digital wedding photography, setter of all the trends. The location, the most romantic city ever, is unlike anyplace I've ever visited. It's a photographer's dream, not only the light is magical everywhere, but you are surrounded by perfect architecture, textures, colors... The models provided for us are gorgeous, wearing some amazing gowns from australians fashion de [...]
  • Next Level Workshop in Paris with Scott Robert

  • I'm a little behind on blogging and this morning I woke up determined to not allow myself to let the day go by without catching up some. I may not write too much, because now that I've spend so much time on selecting and editing the pictures, there is little time left to prepare dinner, help with homework, give baths... I've been a very lucky girl lately, traveling a lot, committed to improve my skills in photography. I went to Scott Robert's workshop in London in August, and just 3 weeks lat [...]
  • More from London

  • A few more pictures from London. We met on the third day, with our models near London bridge. We then split up in small groups and explored this one little street for photo opportunities. We found a neat garage, where the workers loved all the buzz we created, they watched, then participated in our pictures, and even pulled out some fancy cars for props. A little further down the road, we came along a wonderful pub, where we spent a great deal of time posing the girls in a very cool environm [...]
  • Scott Robert next level workshop in London

  • I've been gone for a while, but I'm back to blogging. I've just returned from an amazing week in London with world famous wedding photographer, (drum roll please) Scott Robert. It was my second workshop with him (we call it: "hopping on the Scott Robert wagon"), and he keeps getting better. He's passionate about photography, he's pursuing an artistic vision whenever he's holding a camera (all the time), and he loves to teach. The group of attendees was small, only 8 of us, so we all got a lo [...]
  • Trip To France

  • I'm now, after an unusually very long (24 hours door to door) trip in my top most favorite place on earth: Aix-en-Provence, with my children and all my family. This is where I was born and grew up, and it's quite a treat for me to return once a year back home. There's always something so special about the place where we spend our childhood, but I feel I'm even more fortunate to have it in this paradise on earth. The overwhelming happiness starts the moment the plane hits the ground. Of cours [...]
  • Happy Father's Day

  • I know it's a little early, but today I feel pretty good about Henry's (my man) father's day present. It sure beats my first ever mother's day present, 10 years ago: a fly fishing rod!!! I tried my best to practice in our backyard everyday for a good 15 minutes, under Henry's watchful eyes, but never really got into it. I imagine, his ulterior motive was for me to really dig it, then we could go on fly fishing trips together... Well 10 years later, I still try to come up with something more [...]
