- Let's see if I manage to stay a little more on track with my blog posts. A new friend has given me a couple tips, we'll see if they work.
Danny, like most seniors this time of the year, is in the middle of college applications. As my son is going through the same process, I appreciate the tight schedule and time constrain they are under. The session was quick and fun. I especially loved Danny's enthusiasm when I asked him if he would pose in front of his mother's car!

- Social Media is moving too fast for me! I am having some issues staying up to date on all SM front, and it doesn't look like it will be slowing down: one becomes a fad to be replaced by a dozen others!
There will be some catching up to do, because I have been busy since my last post with many sessions, but for today, let's be in the wind with the latest. It's with some nostalgia that I share these pictures today: Laura is the last of 3 sisters I will have photographed for this wonderful famil [...]

- Back to blogging! Lot of catching up to do. I'll start with a recent session, because it was one of my favorites:) Cole was so cool and easy to work with, very patient with me. His mom is an awesome sport photographer dedicating herself to photograph most of the sports played at Washington High, and she was an absolute wonderful assistant for this session. Kim, you spoiled me, I'm going to miss you now every time I go on a shoot!
Cole is one accomplish young man, off to a great future I'm [...]

- We finished our epic 2 days photoshoot in grand style by having a little flash mob, in what better years than the 80ies? Full of celebrities...Madonna, Tom Cruise, Ducky, Richard Simmons (Bennett Gaston, you totally rocked Richard Simmons!)... It was the best ending, a little choreography from Teya to the tune of "Lucky star". Very soon, the search for models of the class 2016 will be starting. Be sure to follow me on "FB" and "IG", to get all the info on how to enter. You don't want to mis [...]

The second day of our big shoot was a Monday, so we could have the Scenic Dinner 90, the perfect set for our 50ies theme, to ourselves. The inspiration was from the movie "grease" and from the TV series "Mad Men". Again, it was so much fun to see everyone's transformation into a new character. It's amazing what a little make up, hair and dress up w [...]

- Definitely behind on my blog posts considering this shoot took place this past June... But very soon will be the time to sign up for the 2016 Senior Model Shoot and wouldn't it be nice to see how it went for the 2015 Seniors?
It covered 2 days, but this year, I'll try to have it done in one day (most likely a Sunday in early May). With the help of a professional team of 10 make up artists and hair stylists, our models prepared for their last scene on their first day. I choose the old coca col [...]

- A little field trip to Fairhope to photograph yet an other beautiful high school senior. I discovered this "farm", thanks to my friend, "Deanie Sexton", a wonderful location, with beautiful surroundings. A little change of scenery, and I LOVE to find new places, find new backgrounds so that everyone can have unique images.
Lela, was also one of my senior models for the class of 2015. Dual enrolled now, but taking all of her classes in college, she seems well on her way to college and then me [...]

- I'm far behind on my posts again. I have plenty to catch up with, but I'll start with a very recent photo session. It's a bittersweet post: I love this girl and her family, she totally rocked her session, but so sad that I have no more Lonquist girls to photograph! You can see her sisters sessions "here" (for Jocelyn) and "here" (for Riana). Teya was one of my senior models for the class 2015, when I'm caught up you will see many more images of her in some very cool settings.
For her senio [...]

- The more I photograph high school seniors, the more I love it. Most of the time, the moms come to the session as well, and are great assistants. But the biggest perk to having them around is to watch the sweet mother/daughter relation. For a mother this is such a special stage in our lives, the pride and love we feel for our children radiate so, it's almost palpable. The friendship and trust between Ivy and her mother was a delight to witness, and it was such fun spending time with them. Ma [...]

- This was such a fun session! Having chosen just one location, a bit out in the country, it made it much more relaxing, giving us plenty of time to explore this nice farm. The owner is such a sweet man and was all too happy to have Langley and her mother around.

- Here is the other half of Taylor & molly's session. It was great fun to photograph these 2 together, a bit like the "yin & Yang". Molly, an accomplished athlete is going next year to Millsaps with a soccer scholarship.

- What a lovely session this was! I felt like I had Rapunzel in front of my camera, that hair!!! Taylor and her friend, Molly, shared a session (great way to save half of the session fee), so very soon, I'll have an other post with Molly's images.
I photographed these last Friday. Monday, Taylor came with her mother, Sheryl (the sweetest lady ever!) to select their favorites for me to edit. They loved the pictures so much, their excitement (with hands flapping in the air:) was so contagious! [...]
