- Today, making my blog shine is Megan. A few years ago, I photographed her sister, Ansley. I wish your computer screen could be like those old picture books for children, you could scratch up and smell the scent associated with the image. Megan's mom, Yvette, owns "Belle Ame" and she makes the most scrumptious body lotions, butters, soaps, scrubs.... Her store is in downtown Pensacola, on Palafox Street, if you haven't been yet, you must visit. My personal favorites are the glycerin lime Ma [...]

- I am just stoked about this project and so excited to have received such an enthusiastic response to the application process. When thinking it through, I had some fears that I wouldn't be able to communicate how much fun this will be and I worried few would sign up. In the end, too many signed up! It was disheartening to not be able to take everyone who applied. I just wouldn't be able to handle such a big group. I apologize to all who are not part of the team and I am grateful to all to ha [...]

- Digging through my computer, I found this set of images taken years ago in Nimes, France. My sister, Sylvie has danced all her life, her daughter, Rose is an accomplished dancer, full of grace. They provided me with beautiful models in their hometown. Oh I wish I could just conduct all my senior sessions in France! The places we would go! The architecture, the fields, the farms, the colors... such beautiful backdrops. This summer, Rose, you're going to have to be my model!

- Much to catch up with having had a "dormant" blog for the past 2 years. Wouldn't it be unfair for all those wonderful clients to not be featured too? I know, that's what I thought too, so today is Khaki even though she graduated last year.

- Spring break is over. I'll have to share in an other post our wonderful vacation out West, but for today I wanted to feature these 2 beauties. It was such a pleasure for me to photograph them and watch them interact. They have such a lovely friendship, complementing each other. I hope you will get go to FSU together, and I wish you both the best of luck!

- It's high school senior season!!! The weather down here has been so nice lately. I've been seeing pictures of people not just going to the beach in bathing suits soaking up the sun, but also swimming!!! Sweet Florida:)
Today, let me share a few favorite from Bianca's session. Bianca, you are gorgeous! I had such a good time photographing you, and I wish you the best in a college, the start of this new journey in your life.
I love to watch wedding images, there is so much talent in the who [...]

- I can't believe I haven't blogged about this session. We had it just a little before the time saving change. It was the ideal time of the year for senior photography in Pensacola. Mind you, now is excellent too, the weather is perfect for fun clothes, layers, boots, scarfs, hats... all my favorites. BUT, the only inconvenience is that the sun sets so early now that we really need to get started close to lunch time and you might miss a little of school that day.

- This is the best time of the year for high school senior photography, in Pensacola that is. The weather is finally cooling down, so we can actually have these outdoor sessions without feeling like a bathing suit is the only appropriate clothing for the season. No more temperature restrictions, it's your time to shine, pull out of your closet all those fun clothes, let your personality burst in colors, textures...and wear it!
Pediatric orthopedic surgeon is her aim, and I have no doubt she will [...]

- The weather is finally cooling down somewhat, leading us into fall, my favorite season of the year, the reward for having endured the steamy hot summer. It is THE best time of the year to have senior pictures taken, when you can layer clothes, wear all kind of shoes, especially boots, scarfs, hats...
Haiden has what I think are ideal features: luscious red wavy locks, gorgeous green eyes, a beautiful smile, and the sweetest personality to seal it.

- Flattered is a small word to describe how I felt when Brianna's mother, Julie, contacted me from their home in Missouri to schedule her daughter's senior session here in Florida with me. We met in SeaSide and found so many beautiful places for our photo shoot. We are so lucky to live in this paradise.
If the dictionary used images to define words, then Brianna would be the definition of "Lovely".
We were very fortunate to meet a group of young girls, who agreed to let us barrow one of their [...]

- It's when I meet girls like Tessa that I'm comforted about the teenage years ahead of us. Living life at it's full (in french we would say "elle croque la vie a pleine dents"="she's bitting life with all her teeth"), an accomplished athlete, a great circle of friends, a good relation with her parents (oh, I so appreciate!), Tessa is a beautiful girl with a great appetite for life, and a wonderful smile that just irradiate, and her eyes... Oh those green lagoon eyes!
