- Meet sweet baby Ashton, he was so peaceful for his session, smiling like an angel:)

- A little over a year ago, France and the world were shaken by the terrorist attacks on Paris. Everyone was changing their facebook profile by adding a french flag layer over their picture. I was so worried for friends and family and then so sad. I woke up the next day in such a state of despair. Still in bed I received a message from my friend Erika and she just turned my outlook on life, let me share with you what I saw that day. I'm sure you too will be touched by this story.
Erika is be [...]

- I suspect Mason's mama has a special soft spot for rabbits, since she brought the adorable little crochet outfit, I have seen more pictures of cute little bunnies on her social media. How fitting that Mason was born just before Easter!

- I was a little nervous before Sawyer's newborn mini session: he was already considered a little old, just 5 days shy of celebrating his first month. The trick during a newborn session is to have the baby in a deep sleep in order to move him from one pose to the next and to perfect each shot. Fresh out of the womb they tend to sleep most of the time, but quickly develop with each day, and stay awake longer periods of time, rendering a photography session a bit more of a challenge. Sawyer was t [...]

I love this baby's announcement, modern, trendy and simple:

- It's always a double treat to have newborn twins in the studio! The connection will never cease to amaze me! You can watch the babies soothing each other, usually one will have a hand looking for the other, it's very so sweet and heart warming.

- One of the greatest thing about photographing newborns is to witness all the love. Having a baby will open the flood! The maternal love might be the greatest of all, and then the parents for one an other in this very special time of their lives. Happy moments when life begins. At some point during Collin's mini session, Shawn said: "I made her wait long enough"... and that made me very curious. Collin's parents are high school sweet hearts: they have been dating since they are 15 and 16, f [...]

- This newborn session was extra special, because we had a common friend, Christine, who came to help. I always love a new assistant! Having Christine so willing to aid me was quite a treat and makes me wish for a full time assistant. Sibling love and capturing it in camera is also very rewarding. With teenage siblings, it is such a cute moment to watch the wonder when they hold their newborn brother.

- All that sweetness! I never get tired of photographing newborns. I wish I had taken a behind the scene shot of the coral wrap picture. The session was stretching out and Lola couldn't find that nice deep sleep, so I enlisted her mother Danielle, to breastfeed her while in the wooden bowl. It couldn't have been comfortable for Danielle, but she was happy to give it a try and I'm so glad now that we have the picture!

Madame La Comtesse de Ségur titled one of her famous books: "Apres la pluie le beau temps", which means: "after the rain comes beautiful weather". Fred and Wade have just gone through a very rough stormy year. Claire is the sunshine, the epic beautiful beginning that marks the end of the hardship. I remember just last Spring, Fred calling me with news from back home: her older sister, Veronique was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through their family ran an unusual history of female ca [...]

- I go through this periodically, a bit of a lacking presence on my blog, followed by sincere apologies for disappearing. Like everyone I know "I am very busy", lame excuse but here it is. I started the New Year not so much with new resolution but more the promise to keep the door open, to take the time to follow my dreams. And do I know how to dream! We are extending the house... a bigger studio, women photography, I'm learning to make jewelry... Jewelry, that's right, and pretty soon (in 2 [...]
