• Jenni, Richard and Walton.

  • I LOVE this family! They are very very dear to me. Henry and Jenni's uncle, Leo have been friends forever, they share many extraordinary fishing tales together. Really, all of Jenni's big family has been close to Henry and all have always been so sweet to me. Besides, I've photographed Walton when he was just a few days old. He was my first baby model, and one of his pictures remains my all time favorite. I have used that image many times through out town as advertisement for my baby photo [...]
  • Morgan

  • Photographing this little angel was so much fun, her parents, Doug and Tiffany were excited to let me try new things. I ended up staying a while, and got to experiment a little. My first new thing was the lights in this picture. I had brought with me some of my christmas light, but they were on a green cord. I explained what I was trying to do, and Doug offered to go find some white lights he had mistakenly bought some years ago. If their attic was anything like mine, I don't think I would [...]
  • Proud Mama!

  • I've got a morning routine. In order to start the day, work, things need to be in somewhat of an order around me, beds made, kitchen cleaned up... This morning in my frenzy to clear the clutter away, I nearly tossed a master piece. A little homework sheet from kindergarden that made its way to our coffee table. The artist is my youngest, Olivia, who really at the moment seems genuinely drawn to a hairdresser carrier, but says she wants to be like her maman ...a photographer. This little dr [...]
  • Andrew, at 3 months

  • Katie and John were the sweetest and so much fun to photograph. They told me all through the session that Andrew is usually all smiles, but not that day. I think it's the big black thing that I held close to my face, that had him a little perplex. Still, I think these turned out really nice, and he did give his dad a brilliant smile on this first image. Andrew was hungry, and while Katie was heating up a bottle for him, John had to keep him waiting, an early lesson of patience [...]
  • Freezing in Pensacola

  • It's still super cold!  And I'm loving it.  I know I'm a little overjoyed by such weather trivia, but this is highly unusual for Florida.  We go cut a Christmas tree in T-shirt and shorts sometimes, so I treasure the few winter days we have.  I guess I really miss having all 4 seasons. Some simple facts, which should help you understand why I'm so happy with our latest low temperatures: The air is crisp, washing away the humidity and making the visibility so clear and infinite.  So nice f [...]
  • Gretchen, Sidney, and the girls

  • It is chili in P'cola, FL.  Literally, when I drove away this morning to drop the kids off to school, I saw icicles on my garbage bin, where the sprinkler water was spilling from the cover, it froze!  on the spot, I'm going to have to take some pictures and document this strange phenomenon.  The other day it was much more poetic, as it happened on my rose bush.  It was really beautiful with the sun shining through, but I was so cold, I just enjoyed it from my window, instead of pulling my camera [...]
  • Aiden

  • New little baby, Aiden, born to Cassandra and Adam. We took those pictures on one of those days where the weather just couldn't make up its mind, as I left my house it was all sunny, by the time I arrived to their house it was very overcast. Luckily, Adam and Cassandra had a nice covered porch, and that's where we took our session. Check out this beautiful family, Aiden did a great job being my model of the day, Look at that sweet innocent little smile in his sleep, I always as [...]
  • Shannon, Michael, Caraline and Colin

  • All right, brace yourselves because this is a long post, many pictures! I had to, I treated the session as family portrait, and an "E session". Shannon and Michael are the sweetest couple, so in love. They will be getting married in May, and didn't really have any pictures of them together. Don't they make a beautiful family? The session was a lot of fun, everyone was in a playful mood. I love this mother/daughter picture. Shannon is an absolutely amazing mom, dedicated to her chil [...]
  • 2 Families @ the beach

  • Still catching up on my blog. Today, 2 beautiful families who were staying at the beach for a vacation. We took the opportunity for some portraits. I'm always a little wary of the beach, I'm not a big fan of the sand, but I'm totally paranoid when I have my camera with me. I can just hear the little white grains caught up in the lens mount, working their way towards my sensor... But I must admit, once I overcome my phobia, the Pensacola beach is just like these fantasies holiday spot on a p [...]
  • Natalie, Beau and Colton

  • Here's a real precious family. It was super cold that day, and I was afraid everyone would have a Rudolph red nose, but luckily no. Little Colton was very patient with me, I love the 3 pictures his mom chose for the back of their cards. Natalie had a really neat bright scarf on, Colton looked so cute all wrapped up in it with her.
  • The Epsteins

  • Comment ça va?  School started back last week.  While I loved having the kids at home, not much got done around the house, and I definitely abandoned my computer and the webworld.  I have found that either when overwhelmed with work, or all wrapped up in my family, I tend to forget my blog duties...  So, let's try to stay back on track now, and post some long due family portraits. Paul and Sherié, owners of Running wild with their 3 daughters, Sadie, Savannah and Sarah.  This family is always [...]
  • Bonne Annee et Bonne Sante a tous!!!

  • My last post for this year, to wish everyone a very happy New Year. Time flies, it doesn't seem that long ago when I went to school and all the kids were excited about 1980! I didn't quite understand why all the fuss, then there was the new millennium, that really feels like yesterday, and now we are already about to start 2009!!! Wow, it's going by too fast. I see my children grow, too quick. No matter how determined I am to enjoy every minute with them, I end up caught up in everyday life [...]
