Maddy/ Pensacola senior photographer
- She's beautiful inside and out. She has a sincere smile, and through it you get a glimpse of her huge heart. She wants to be a missionary, she enjoys reading and is very familiar with her bilingual bible (in spanish). As a mother, I was particularly sensitive to the tenderness between Maddy and her mother. Catherine, I hope that in our short time together, I was able to capture your daughter in all her loveliness, and that you will cherish these images. This dress... if I ever find it, I' [...]
Reading
- For the 4 years I've been blogging, I've often been tempted to share "personal thoughts"and every once in a while, I do. My hesitation isn't shyness, I'm just a little reserved, and maybe concerned that perhaps what goes on in my life is not interesting to those who stumble across my blog. My blog is my portfolio, a testimony of my work and its progress through time, a place to decide if my style will fit your needs. But then, you may also want a glimpse of who I am before you hire me to phot [...]
Love at first sight, Pensacola newborn photographer
- If you haven't had a chance to experience it in your love life, you get an other chance at it (everyone does, no exceptions!) when you have a baby. It's love at first sight in its glory, it invades and swells up your heart in a magical instant. It's definitely what happened to Hannah's parents. I suspect that for her mother, Jessica, it wasn't as sudden as for Andrew. When you feel the baby grow inside you for 9 months, the love starts growing too, but Hannah's father was smitten with this l [...]
Sweeter than honey!
- Finley should still be growing in the comfort of Michelle's tummy, she was not due until September 7th. Yet, she came early, very early, on June 15th. She had to stay 63 days in the hospital, before she was release to finally go home for the first time. Only 3 days later, she was in my studio, and along her parents brought me some honey from their bees! Love it! I like honey so much that I'll turn down nutella for a toast with the delicious golden syrup... (that says a lot!) Little Miss F [...]
Laney
- Meet already 19 days old little miss Laney. She was bright eyed toward the end of the session, and does she ever have beautiful big expressive eyes! Most of the props (like the Tibetan milk jug) come from our local home & garden famous store, DUH. In the Tibetan milk jug... With her big brother Heath, who is totally smitten with his little sister, he covered her with affection and kisses.
Landon
- He's not the first and certainly won't be the last to oh so completely steal my heart! Just 7 days old, perfect in every way, with the face of an angel, the softest peach skin, he should be the face of some baby propaganda! Soon, I will post images of his lovely mother carrying Landon in her belly. It's again one of those time when I put "La charue avant les boeufs" (put the cart before the horse). I couldn't wait any longer and just had to share...
A funny note
- I'm just working away on my computer, when Magalie, my 10 year old, sneaks up by and leaves me this note to read immediately. Obviously, she inherited my sweet tooth curse... Very witty Meg!!! Sweets are the best fuel in our family for our creativity engine, so I talked the hungry alien into visiting someone else's house, while I let Meg "guard" the cookie dough... A wonderful 4th of July weekend to all!
Griffith & Tinley
- I promised their mom, Buffi, to have some pictures up on the blog by the end of the day... it's nearly 10:30 pm. Griffith was full of energy and buoyant with life, as you'll see in the images, it shows in his happy face. Tinley couldn't have been any sweeter, patient and such a good big sister. Buffi, it was a lot of fun for me to photograph your children, I think they did absolutely fabulous!
Cruising along...
- I'm in love! Totally smitten with little Cruz. Seriously! How much cutter than this can you get?
Linver & Langston
- It seems I've fallen off the face of earth once more... I took off for France for a surprise visit to my parent's to celebrate my dad's birthday. What fun we had, and what a chock it was for him to have such a large group of family and friends (somewhere around 80) surprise him for his birthday! Now, the fun is over, and I'm working on my computer desperately trying to catch up with past sessions. I have lots of beautiful people to showcase, starting with these 2 munchkins. When I first tal [...]
Stephanie, Pensacola senior photographer
- Happy Mother's day to all the beautiful mamas all around the world. I hope you had a nice weekend, breakfast in bed maybe? lots of beautiful drawings, poems, recognition and lots of love from your little ones or older ones. Today I'm sharing some images of Stephanie, a high school senior in Illinois, but about to move to sunny and warm Pensacola:) A huge thanks to Ansley's friends whom we met during our shoot and kindly let me use their bikes. I love pictures with some [...]
Frederick Emerson, Pensacola Photographer
- Meet little Mister Frederick, not even a week old when I photographed him. As with any newborn, I had a wonderful time, but the session was a bit of a challenge. I couldn't get my young model to fall into a deep sleep, as soon as I moved him slightly I would disturb his nap. I resorted to a little cheating, as you will be able to see here, I used a pacifier... It was Emerson's first experience with it, and fairly quickly he enjoyed it, wrapping his little hands protectively around it, trying [...]
