Frederick Emerson, Pensacola Photographer

Meet little Mister Frederick, not even a week old when I photographed him. As with any newborn, I had a wonderful time, but the session was a bit of a challenge. I couldn’t get my young model to fall into a deep sleep, as soon as I moved him slightly I would disturb his nap. I resorted to a little cheating, as you will be able to see here, I used a pacifier… It was Emerson’s first experience with it, and fairly quickly he enjoyed it, wrapping his little hands protectively around it, trying to prevent me from pulling it away to photograph him. Once pulled out, he would momentarily present us with this adorable pucker of his lips (like on the image with the tree branch). It was a draining session for him, and I caught many yawns. I hope as exhausted as he was, he let his parents sleep a little longer that evening.
