  • Starting life with such a lovely name, it's Greek origin means "grace", and it's Welsh origin means "love". Isn't it a perfect, unique name? Whitney and Cameron, I hope the pacifier has proven a good thing by now, it really was very helpful during our session. I think you'll have beautiful memories of this fleeting time.
John, Pensacola Newborn Photographer
  • John, Pensacola Newborn Photographer

  • Grinning from ear to ear, with the sweetest dimples, is John. I think the last image on this post is probably the biggest smile I've ever photographed on a newborn, and with this picture in hand, I challenge anyone to tell me newborns don't smile (John is 7 days old here). A crown fit for a prince, In an album, I would have this spread, Very much awake and alert, Happy, happy!
  • Check it out

  • My new friends, Jessica & David, a local husband and wife wedding photographer team, have me as a guest on their blog about clothing style. How very flattering to be asked, and the session itself was a lot of fun. Quite a change to be on the other side of the camera. David and Jess work real well together and it's no wonder they cover weddings so beautifully. They complement each other perfectly, they work fast, they are synced and you really NEED that harmony in the team photographing [...]

Little Angel Christian
  • Little Angel Christian

  • I'm sharing quite a few pictures here today. I'm under the spell of this little family, their tenderness toward one an other touched me deeply. Anne had a very long labor, to finally have a C section, and only 5 days later they came for their session. Anne was a trouper, as I'm sure she was still sore, and CJ was totally at ease with their little one. I wanted to post many images because CJ, a Blue Angel pilot had to leave for a 3 weeks mission. I'm sure they all miss each other terribly an [...]
Edie 9 months
  • Edie 9 months

  • Each milestone of a child's development has a specific interest for me, from a photographic stand point. With newborns, I like to emphasize their small size, their curled up fetal preferred position. For infants, 6 months old, I love their chubbiness, but especially their expressions. They are not yet "camera aware", and are so honest in front of a camera. If only to catch their many expressions, I think a session at this stage of your baby's life is a must. Their little face, big eyes, per [...]
  • Abby

  • After editing all day, I'm a little slow on text. But the images will speak for themselves, as they show a beautiful young women about to graduate from high school. When I post pictures of "seniors", my heart always pinches for the parents, as I know how they must feel, dreading their children to fly from the nest.. My son is 13, in 8th grade, and although at times we clash, I can't imagine living without him. Abby, it was a pleasure to photograph you, I think you look absolutely fabulous, si [...]
  • Maddy/ Pensacola senior photographer

  • She's beautiful inside and out. She has a sincere smile, and through it you get a glimpse of her huge heart. She wants to be a missionary, she enjoys reading and is very familiar with her bilingual bible (in spanish). As a mother, I was particularly sensitive to the tenderness between Maddy and her mother. Catherine, I hope that in our short time together, I was able to capture your daughter in all her loveliness, and that you will cherish these images. This dress... if I ever find it, I' [...]
  • Reading

  • For the 4 years I've been blogging, I've often been tempted to share "personal thoughts"and every once in a while, I do.  My hesitation isn't shyness, I'm just a little reserved, and maybe concerned that perhaps what goes on in my life is not interesting to those who stumble across my blog.  My blog is my portfolio, a testimony of my work and its progress through time, a place to decide if my style will fit your needs.  But then, you may also want a glimpse of who I am before you hire me to phot [...]
Love at first sight, Pensacola newborn photographer
  • Love at first sight, Pensacola newborn photographer

  • If you haven't had a chance to experience it in your love life, you get an other chance at it (everyone does, no exceptions!) when you have a baby. It's love at first sight in its glory, it invades and swells up your heart in a magical instant. It's definitely what happened to Hannah's parents. I suspect that for her mother, Jessica, it wasn't as sudden as for Andrew. When you feel the baby grow inside you for 9 months, the love starts growing too, but Hannah's father was smitten with this l [...]
Sweeter than honey!
  • Sweeter than honey!

  • Finley should still be growing in the comfort of Michelle's tummy, she was not due until September 7th. Yet, she came early, very early, on June 15th. She had to stay 63 days in the hospital, before she was release to finally go home for the first time. Only 3 days later, she was in my studio, and along her parents brought me some honey from their bees! Love it! I like honey so much that I'll turn down nutella for a toast with the delicious golden syrup... (that says a lot!) Little Miss F [...]
Laney
  • Laney

  • Meet already 19 days old little miss Laney. She was bright eyed toward the end of the session, and does she ever have beautiful big expressive eyes! Most of the props (like the Tibetan milk jug) come from our local home & garden famous store, DUH. In the Tibetan milk jug... With her big brother Heath, who is totally smitten with his little sister, he covered her with affection and kisses.
