Edie 9 months

Each milestone of a child’s development has a specific interest for me, from a photographic stand point. With newborns, I like to emphasize their small size, their curled up fetal preferred position. For infants, 6 months old, I love their chubbiness, but especially their expressions. They are not yet “camera aware”, and are so honest in front of a camera. If only to catch their many expressions, I think a session at this stage of your baby’s life is a must. Their little face, big eyes, perfect lips, are conveying so much, they are emotionally charged and so wonderfully funny. I had the best time editing Edie’s session, imagining conversations with my little expressive model. She has changed quite a bit since I last saw her… you can view her newborn session here.

Little crown made by yours truly,

She is sooooo cute!!!

Adorable, as always - What a little model. I see a future Auburn Tiger cheerleader!!!! My favorite, if I had to pick one, is the one of the 3 of you. Next time, you will need Gus to ham it up for a full family portrait.

Oh Stacy, you and your husband are so blessed with this precious girl in addition to an absolutely wonderful son. Thank you for letting us see these. I love the picture with the blocks. She also has the most radiant eyes I have ever seen. It is obvious that you cherish these days as a young family. You are right to do so. You obviously love being a Mom and it shows. The photographer is a true artist who gives us a glimpse in your hearts. God bless your whole little family of four. May the love you give now bless many in the future.
