  • 4th Set for the class of 2015 Senior Model Shoot

  • Very soon, the search for models of the class 2016 will be starting. Be sure to follow me on "FB" and "IG", to get all the info on how to enter. The second day of our big shoot was a Monday, so we could have the Scenic Dinner 90, the perfect set for our 50ies theme, to ourselves. The inspiration was from the movie "grease" and from the TV series "Mad Men". Again, it was so much fun to see everyone's transformation into a new character. It's amazing what a little make up, hair and dress up w [...]
  • Senior Model shoot for the class of 2015, 3rd set: Hipster

  • Definitely behind on my blog posts considering this shoot took place this past June... But very soon will be the time to sign up for the 2016 Senior Model Shoot and wouldn't it be nice to see how it went for the 2015 Seniors? It covered 2 days, but this year, I'll try to have it done in one day (most likely a Sunday in early May). With the help of a professional team of 10 make up artists and hair stylists, our models prepared for their last scene on their first day. I choose the old coca col [...]
  • Lela, Pensacola & Fairhope Senior photographer

  • A little field trip to Fairhope to photograph yet an other beautiful high school senior. I discovered this "farm", thanks to my friend, "Deanie Sexton", a wonderful location, with beautiful surroundings. A little change of scenery, and I LOVE to find new places, find new backgrounds so that everyone can have unique images. Lela, was also one of my senior models for the class of 2015. Dual enrolled now, but taking all of her classes in college, she seems well on her way to college and then me [...]
  • Teya, Pensacola & Milton Senior photographer

  • I'm far behind on my posts again. I have plenty to catch up with, but I'll start with a very recent photo session. It's a bittersweet post: I love this girl and her family, she totally rocked her session, but so sad that I have no more Lonquist girls to photograph! You can see her sisters sessions "here" (for Jocelyn) and "here" (for Riana). Teya was one of my senior models for the class 2015, when I'm caught up you will see many more images of her in some very cool settings. For her senio [...]
  • Senior Model Shoot for the graduating class of 2015

  • Do you remember back in March when I send out a "search" for uprising local seniors? I had in mind a very original photo shoot, involving professional make up artists and hair stylists. A page in my website had a description of the event, a link to an application form. This project has kept me VERY busy for the past 3 months. I did get a lot of applicants, and 20 were chosen to be my models. There was a lot of preparation involved to communicate my vision to them and their parents, and I am [...]
  • Ivy, PHS 2014 Senior

  • The more I photograph high school seniors, the more I love it. Most of the time, the moms come to the session as well, and are great assistants. But the biggest perk to having them around is to watch the sweet mother/daughter relation. For a mother this is such a special stage in our lives, the pride and love we feel for our children radiate so, it's almost palpable. The friendship and trust between Ivy and her mother was a delight to witness, and it was such fun spending time with them. Ma [...]
  • Langley, Gulf Breeze Senior Photographer

  • This was such a fun session! Having chosen just one location, a bit out in the country, it made it much more relaxing, giving us plenty of time to explore this nice farm. The owner is such a sweet man and was all too happy to have Langley and her mother around.
  • Taylor, Pensacola High School Senior

  • What a lovely session this was! I felt like I had Rapunzel in front of my camera, that hair!!! Taylor and her friend, Molly, shared a session (great way to save half of the session fee), so very soon, I'll have an other post with Molly's images. I photographed these last Friday. Monday, Taylor came with her mother, Sheryl (the sweetest lady ever!) to select their favorites for me to edit. They loved the pictures so much, their excitement (with hands flapping in the air:) was so contagious! [...]
  • Megan, Pensacola Catholic High school

  • Today, making my blog shine is Megan. A few years ago, I photographed her sister, Ansley. I wish your computer screen could be like those old picture books for children, you could scratch up and smell the scent associated with the image. Megan's mom, Yvette, owns "Belle Ame" and she makes the most scrumptious body lotions, butters, soaps, scrubs.... Her store is in downtown Pensacola, on Palafox Street, if you haven't been yet, you must visit. My personal favorites are the glycerin lime Ma [...]
  • Congratulations to the Senior model team of class 2015!

  • I am just stoked about this project and so excited to have received such an enthusiastic response to the application process. When thinking it through, I had some fears that I wouldn't be able to communicate how much fun this will be and I worried few would sign up. In the end, too many signed up! It was disheartening to not be able to take everyone who applied. I just wouldn't be able to handle such a big group. I apologize to all who are not part of the team and I am grateful to all to ha [...]
