Vegas workshop

I’m finished working on my “Vegas” folder, and here are the remaining images. These were all taken around the Venetian hotel. Now that I’ve seen the true Venice, I’m a bit of a snob, and even though it’s a very expensive structure it is no match for the beauty and elegance found in Italy…

Beautiful Bhavana, I couldn’t stop photographing her.

Serena and her husband,

Tiffany,

Nancy in her gorgeous wedding gown,

As the night fell, so did the temperature. I’ve noticed it always takes me a little while to get inspired during a “photo shot”, or maybe as we get more into it, passion kicks in and ideas start to flow. A really big thanks to all our models who very graciously posed for “one more photo” a hundred time! They were so cold, but so agreeable to try any new light, location…

For a few minutes we managed to get a few shots of Bhavana in the grand entrance of the hotel, but quickly were asked to leave,

While photographing, I remember hearing people talk about the volcano erupting (?), and suddenly as I was taking this picture, there was “lava” shooting in the air in the background… only Vegas..

Last day of the workshop, we stayed around the conference room, and mainly practice portrait with different lighting. Here a big doorway,

Narrow window light, on the next 2,

Ceiling can light,
