Sean

I’m posting these pictures from Las Vegas. I cannot believe this place! Everywhere you look are the weirdest things. The first thing I saw landing were beautiful mountains, then a pyramid with some odd egyptian creature guarding it? then a gold building, a mini eiffel tour, a roller coaster in front of a hotel, and slot machines everywhere!!! Unbelievable. I didn’t realize that each hotel, the airport too, have their own casinos. I’ve traveled around the world, but never before have seen so many bizarre sights. Oh, there’s also all the chapels providing valentine wedding specials. Just walking around my hotel to find a little snack, I saw a bride and groom (in their full wedding attire) drink in hand, playing slot machines… weird. I’m here for an amazing workshop with Scott Robert, and the annual biggest photography trade show, with lots of conferences from the world’s wedding photographer leaders. It’s my first time attending it, it’s all so exciting.
While on my first plane, I though I would start writing a little, in preparation for this post, but the ride suddenly became really bumpy (very small plane too), and I furiously began writing down love notes to my family. Now, how sad is that? Every time I’m in a plane, I believe I’m living my final minutes. While I tried to reassure the sweet lady sitting next to me, and promised her planes simply cannot crash (my pilot cousin gave me this whole spiel on how safe the machines are), she just had to remind me of the recent Hudson river accident… Did I miss a book on this trip! I usually bring a novel, to stay focused and prevent all those wondering thoughts of crashing planes from entering my mind. Now, as I’m about to post this, meaning I’ve arrived safely, we all know my cousin is right, and I’m just a little paranoid in the air.
This is a lovely family. Sweet baby Sean was just a couple days shy from being a month old. He was an angel, I tried a new pose with him, the last pictures, where his head is resting on his little arms.

Great big yawn, that’s a bit how I feel now,

This baby is gorgeous, he will be a heartbreaker when he is older! I love the one of dad holding him, his eyes look so good in that pic.
