Nora

A couple of weeks ago, little Nora made her great entrance into our world. Her parents awaited her arrival anxiously. At the hospital, Randy, her father, kept friends and family updated on the delivery’s progress with frequent facebook entries. A little over a year ago, Randy and Sharon were in the same hospital wing, excited to welcome their first newborn, Noah. But instead of the joyful calls to announce their son’s birth, they had to deliver the tragic news of his passing to their loved ones. Although, I’ve just met this family, it is clear to me, how many lives Noah touched. Nora’s birth was so very special, a blessing, she is already loved by so many, and I believe a little angel will always be standing at her side.
Randy and Sharon share their travels (they’ve covered all the USA in a mobile home with their two Puggles) and thoughts through the most interesting project: One shoe diaries. Randall’s photography is fascinating. I won’t reveal it, except to say that each picture will draw you into a world of wonder and will leave a definite imprint in your mind…
I believe newborns see angel in their sleep when they smile, and I’ve never had a baby smile so many times during a session…

I am simply in awe of how you captured our little girl's spirit. We are truly lucky to have had you come upon us to take these incredible shots, you have a true gift for photographing newborns. It takes a lot of talent and patience to get these types of shots, I know as a photographer, I could never have come away with the images you have. I have a new found appreciation for infant photography. The poses and props you came in with were brilliant! I could go on and on, we will cherish these shots forever! I cant wait to finish my One Shoe Diaries Volume 3, you will be the first to get the entire trilogy bound together as a whole collection. We cannot thank you enough. I will spread your name to all the parents we come across.

    Sincerely,
Randy, Sharon, Nora, Noah, Jack and Jinjer: "The Hamiltons" :)

PS: Sorry we were not very presentable for the hoot, for some reason we did not even think we would be in the shoot, I would have at least shaved :) :) :), Randy

These are GORGEOUS shots, Ms. Langhorne! You certainly have great subject(s) here, but your ability to capture their inherent beauty shines through. Absolutely lovely work.

PS - I was sending a link to your pictures to my girlfriend. I wrote this line and knew it should be said here, too -- "Usually, baby pics are subjectively good. Not these. Anyone who doesn’t see these as absolutely gorgeous is an idiot :)"

    Randy & Sharon,

These are BEAUTIFUL photos. I think the ones with you, Randy, turned out extremely well. I think your unshaven face added to the overall feel... it provides a spectacular contrast for Norah's delicate skin as a newborn... Great shots, you guys!

Awesome Arielle! This little girl looks like she is smiling and so happy to have you take her photograph. I especially love the images with her parents in them. VERY special and well-done.

Wow! I love all the props! The hanging scale and shot with Randy's chest are my 2 favorites! Randy, I like the rough around the edges look that comes through with the facial hair. Nora is going to love these, I know I do!
