Mattie Adair, Pensacola Newborn Photographer

Though I have not sat in Mr Bowlds class, I know from my daughter, Olivia, that he is a wonderful history teacher. The passionate kind who will turn his classroom into a mocked battlefield with overturned desk, making his lectures lively and memorable. The kind who really cares about his pupils: he boosted Olivia when he organized a facetime session with her in France and his classroom is the US. The snippet of his daily life with his students, he occasionally shares on social media, I hope will eventually be turned into a book. Such sweet stories! I am so grateful for all the good teachers my children have had over the years, making learning fun. We have been very fortunate, and one year with Mr Bowlds was a treat!
I had never met his wife, Caitlyn, before Mattie’s session. While growing up, mission trips were important to her parents and she tagged along with her sisters. I think the whole family has a heart of gold, her older sister early on, knew she would adopt, she’s now married and has embarked on a challenging journey of love with 3 Ugandan children. It is no surprise that Caitlyn exudes kindness.
Caitlyn and Logan moved to Pensacola from Nashville. They set out almost two years ago on an adventure. They said goodbye to family and lifelong friends, quit their beloved jobs, packed up, and headed to a new, unknown life in the one place Logan had always wanted to live; the beach. What began as a simple one-year adventure, quickly morphed into something more. The small, quiet town of Pensacola pulled them into its grips and hasn’t let go yet. In addition to the adventure of moving to a new town, parenthood presented itself to them and they also took that chance as well. Their sweet Mattie Adair was born into a loving and supportive environment and they just adore living here!
