It was about time!

It was about time! We’ve been friends for over 25 years, my first born is 14, my youngest 8, and finally Fred is having children. It was about time! I was thrilled to celebrate their engagement:

She sweet talked me into photographing their wedding in Paris:

I promise I will eventually post a generous group of images from that fabulous day.
And Finally a baby! I am so happy for my friends.

Isabelle may have come a little later than I had hoped, our children will not grow up playing in a sand box together, no afternoons at the park sharing our latest findings about motherhood, but I plan on being around with my camera just the same. Fred is smitten with her “pitchoune” and it fills me with joy to finally see my friend experience the great love of being a mom.

My, she is a sweet little thing. Seems as though she sleeps quite a bit. I know what the problem is, it is the little darlings birthdate, Dec 6, it will make you very casual, I should know, as mine is Dec 2. Fred, I hope the two of you (such a charming couple) love her and let her drive you nuts as all children will do. Keep that sparkly spot in your eye and that cherished zone in your heart and let her be what she will be, whatever that may be!!!

The mother (Wade or Fred?) bears a striking resemblance to your beautiful mother-in- law, Patsy, in the photograph holding her baby. These are great photos.
