double blessing

I love photographing twins, and I so wish I had been around when these two sweeties were born. They came to the world on July 15th and I took these pictures when they were just a week shy of being two months old. It was my longest session ever, but definitely worth it. Sawyer is right at 10 pounds, and miss Lily a little over 8 pounds.
Lily is on the left and Sawyer on the right in the next picture.

I usually prefer to edit newborn photography in black and white, but I think color works pretty well here.

This has to be one of my all time favorite images,

Thank you Meri and Joël for trusting me to record this special time in your lives. I loved meeting your babies and so much enjoyed holding them.

These are SOOOO beautiful! I've been a fan for a while but don't know that I've ever left a comment. Love your work. Oh, and just fyi, I notice on my monitor some areas in the black background images that aren't fully burned. I did the same thing until I realized if I tip my laptop screen toward me, it will show me the areas that aren't quite fully burned so I don't miss any spots. I hope you don't take that as criticism! Trying to help because your work inspires me so much!!!

Such beautiful babies! Arielle really captured in the individuality of the twins in these pictures! It would be SO difficult to pick just one. My favs would have to be the last two in this group in which they are together. In the one of the twins on their sides asleep and facing each other, the fact that Lily's finger is touching Sawyer looks as if she just has to stay in contact with him! And, the one of her cuddled up to Sawyer's back is just so, so sweet! These are once in a lifetime pictures! Arielle did a fantastic job (can't really see that doing this would be "work" though -- too sweet for that!)

These are so precious. I got goose bumps looking at them. You really caputured the hands and feet so well which are the most beautiful things about a baby to me. I am a amateur photographer and these are absolutely inspiring.
