Katie and John were the sweetest and so much fun to photograph. They told me all through the session that Andrew is usually all smiles, but not that day. I think it’s the big black thing that I held close to my face, that had him a little perplex. Still, I think these turned out really nice, and he did give his dad a brilliant smile on this first image.

Andrew was hungry, and while Katie was heating up a bottle for him, John had to keep him waiting, an early lesson of patience in life? Drew had no part in it, food, pronto!

Then, they had this whole father-son conversation…

Some mom love. That last picture is THE one, when they get all “lovey-devey”

After the traditional B&W pictures, we went through the house and did some @ home photography,

John got the dogs out of the closet, and we had a full family group shot. The 2 fur balls are, Allie in the front, and Bama in the back. They are the cutest dogs, sooo soft. Allie was like a little mama, diligently giving Andrew a lick-bath.

I love both their expressions in this picture,

This one is also one of my favorites, because of all the interactions,

If you’ve ever given a bottle to a baby, you’ll recognize this, their little hand just gripping yours… I miss that.
